Contribution Letter Mailing
In September of 1999, we sent out 50 letters to friends and family asking for donations to startup Tomas Tomas and to provide funds for the Alamos Project Phase I. We receive $5,190 through 27 direct donations as of January 2000.  Thank you - to all those great souls.

Putting on a Play
In October 1999, we produced a play in conjunction with Wild Child Productions and Rosemary Ward - a benefit for Tomas Tomas. The play was written and directed by Susan Hunt and recorded live in Santa Rosa by Brad Thomsen. The actors were Sandi Lacy, Mary Gannon and Coco Tanner-Boylan. The Play, "What I Want Is Serenity and Some Really Good Mascara", received a standing ovation. We sold 51 tickets and we were able to raise, after expenses, $1,900. Our generous sponsors were Murphy Goode Winery and Food For Thought. Since the play was such a success and so many people were not able to attend due to the limited seating, we plan to produce the play again at a larger venue.

Current Events

Another Contribution Letter Mailing
In January 2000 we will be sending out another mailing to about 35 people to try and raise an additional $3,000 to complete the Alamos Project Phase I.

Future Events

Just Because
Because the play produced by Rosemary Ward was so successful, we are looking at the possibilities of showing it at a larger venue. Most likely the play will show in May 2000.
